Galapagos Diving is a travel agent. We book your place on cruises and liveaboards run by independent boat operators. Your trip is provided by the operator, under the operator's own terms, which we send you before you pay.
Prices
- Prices on this website are per person in US dollars, based on a shared cabin, and come from the operators' current rates. They can change until your booking is confirmed in writing.
- Unless the trip description says otherwise, prices do not include international or domestic flights, the Galapagos National Park entrance fee, the transit control card, hyperbaric chamber or port fees, rental equipment, nitrox where it is charged, drinks, travel insurance or crew tips.
Holding and paying for a place
- We can usually hold space for a few days while you decide, depending on the operator.
- To confirm, the operator asks for a deposit; the balance is normally due 60 to 120 days before departure. We tell you the exact amounts and dates in your quote.
Changes and cancellations
- Cancellation charges are set by each operator and increase as the departure date gets closer. We send you the operator's cancellation policy with your quote.
- Operators and the Galapagos National Park may change itineraries for safety, weather or park regulations.
Insurance and diving
- We strongly recommend travel insurance that covers cancellation and medical evacuation. Divers need dive accident insurance, for example from DAN or DiveAssure.
- Liveaboard guests must hold at least an Open Water certification, and some operators ask for a minimum number of logged dives for Darwin and Wolf.
