Samira's story
Long before she booked her first trip, Samira knew the Galapagos from the deck of a boat. Her family has operated vessels in the islands for decades, so the harbors, the crews and the rhythm of the seasons were part of everyday life. She learned early what makes a good trip: a boat that's well run, a crew that cares, and an itinerary that matches the people on board.
Then the sea became her passion. Samira is a diver with more than 200 dives, and she knows the feeling of a first hammerhead school at Darwin as well as the nerves before a first current dive. That's why she can tell you which boat suits your experience, how a dive deck is set up, and what to expect underwater month by month.
Fifteen years ago she started arranging Galapagos trips for travelers from abroad. Since then she has looked after solo divers, couples, families and full groups from all over the world.
The approach hasn't changed. Samira knows the boats and the people who run them, she checks every detail before you fly, and she stays reachable from the moment you land in Ecuador until you head home.
